Kosovo police clarify who people cannot cross the border due to fines

But Kosovo Police for the Tribuna Channel have clarified the situation, showing which persons will have stops at the border.

The fines that police pronounce in road traffic no citizen is prohibited from crossing the border. But the court's list of rulings only includes people who haven't implemented the court's orders and decisions, which may be about traffic violations, but prosecuted by the court, and that's why the court wants the police to stop those people from facing police at the border or elsewhere.

While the payment of fines pronounced for traffic violations can be made in all institutions authorised to pay back on road traffic”, police have clarified.

But this decision, Behxhet Shala, Executive Director of the Council for the Protection of Human Rights, is viewing it as unfair.

He says citizens should pay the fines, but not even have such stops at border points.
