The ruling coalition has reached no agreement that would give the green light to the format of how Kosovo dialogue should develop in its final phase, whose leader insists President Thaci himself. Reports that coalition partners have accepted a document framework, and by which everyone has agreed, are exposed by Bilal the Sheriff of the Initiative. The latter continues to be against Thaci at the head of the dialogue.
A meeting held today in the morning hours among ruling coalition leaders Kadri Veselini, Ramush Haradinaj, Fatmir Limaj, Behgjet Pacolli, Dardan Gashi, as well as Hashim Thaci, was said to have ended with a reconciliation for the final phase of Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue and the Negotiator Team.
But, from Fatmir Limaj's party, they call it a lie.
The chief of the Parliamentary Group of Social Democratic Initiatives, Bilall the Sheriff, said that anyone who meets coalition partners who is regularly held in the function of finding the formula to create a political consensus as broad as the Positt-Opositt interprets them as reaching the agreement, according to him, is seriously mistaken.
So what I can tell you now is that we have not yet reached an agreement that would reflect the broadest consensus”, the Sheriff told Express.
The document drafted by Kadri Wessel aimed at providing solutions to the question of dialogue format with the Serbian state contains many points, including red lines towards Serbia.
There, it is confirmed that Kosovo President Hashim Thaci must be the leader of the latest phase of dialogue and that this allows the Constitution to do so.
Fatmir Limaj's initiative does not see the head of state as a proper person at the top of the dialogue.
The whole opposition has a similar attitude.
Meanwhile, an upcoming meeting between Thaci and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is confirmed on July 18th.
