Homazhe honours former Minister Luan Hajdaraga

In honour of the image of Albania's former Deputy Vice President Luan Hajdaraga, who was separated from his life yesterday, after a long battle with the disease, Albania's Assembly hostedmazhe in the shed hall, where prominent political personalities participated.

Present at the hosting ceremony held in the shed hall in the Albanian Parliament was Prime Minister Edi Rama, who has met family members and expressed his condolences, and has honoured Hajdaraga's figure.

Earlier, President Lir Meta also held themazhe at Albania's Parliament's plenary House Hall in honour of life and the work of former Prime Minister andput Luan Hajdaraga.

President Meta, after respectfully bowing down to the dead man's lifeless body by placing a crown of flowers, conveyed to the Hajdaraga family the most tender and sincere condolences for this premature loss of their loved one.

In the presence of the media, the president of the Republic said to his old associate, stressing that, “seems like a moment that doesn't belong to the real world for reasons because memories with him are so many and so extraordinary. He was so open - minded and so much with a sense of humor that really for me he would always remain alive, pleasant and dedicated to fulfilling his responsibilities and always quite friendly with all”.

Ministers of the government cabinet as well as deputies of Albania's Parliament have also attended the ceremony, who expressed condolences to the former defence minister's family, calling it a loss of a major exhibition in the Socialist Party since its beginning.

Defence Minister Olta Xhacka, present in prayer for former Minister Luan Hajdaraga, expressed much grief over his separation from his life.

I never thought we'd follow our friend and colleague so quickly. Hajdaraga contributed and directed Albanian institutions of education and science with rare skills. Hajdaraga led the Ministry of Defence in those difficult years where the fate of Albanians, the fate of Kosovo”, Gacka said.

“Lan Hajdaraga is a rare occasion of joining a single professor, scientist, politician, legislature, and statesman. We will remember him as co-founder and deputy head of the SP in the most difficult times”, Minister Gacka stressed.

Even LSI Mayor Monica Grandi has expressed condolences about the former deputation of life, saying that “Hajdaraga never stopped motivating, and why the roads in politics were divided”.

There's no goodbye for you, my friend Luan! A good man and citizen like you always remains in the hearts of all those who knew him. We were good friends and associates. Even though our political paths broke up, you never stopped motivating me.

Whenever we met, I listened with pleasure to your counsel, encouraged in goodness. I have never understood where all that goodness came from, but today that you are not physically with us is clearly one of the things we will miss most.

I won't forget about you, Luan Hajdaraga, even because we want or don't want to influence them to change the Socialist Party at the time she was afraid to change. You supported young men and women in those years that made their name today. You supported them by showing them that being yourself is more successful than being servile.

We love you. We miss you. Luan Hajdaraga”, writes The Great.
