Along with Mehmet, Valon Shala, Genc Selimi, Nuredin Sylejmani and Musli Hyseni are also being charged.
At Monday's session, accused Mehmet said that the Islamic Community's leadership could be heard in the quality of witnesses in terms of extreme religious ideology, which he said is charged by the prosecution, as well as in terms of radical religious ideology, since Bajgora had been his professor during the time of studies in Islamic science.
However, Mehmet's proposal was rejected by the court headed by Judge Naser Foniqi, while the same was only approved for the hearing of the testimony of the investigator A.O.
Otherwise, during the hearing in question was the presentation of evidence by the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK), Africa Shefkiu, who, with the approval of defence lawyers and indictees, were only read.
But the evidence presented by prosecutor Shefkiu was rejected by defenders Nike Shala, Murat Demolli, Bekim Caffegjolli, Zahie Gjonaj and Drita Alihadari.
Among them was indictee Ardian Mehmeti, who is under official duty protected by lawyer Demolli, said all the items seized in his home except for two weapons were common items he used for domestic needs.
The batteries used for clocks and other things, he said, are not pirotechnics; nor is it artificial fertilizer and technology equipment.
According to accused Mehmeti, in the report made by investigators it was complete equipment for the launch of explosives, for which he said all the tools found at his house were each in his own country, not complete in one.
On the other hand, Mehmet stated that from the things he had been found had been a warning light that had been useless, but that he tried to fix it to put it on a stern 150m away from his house, since there was no electricity there.
As for the found diary, the defendant declared that there were notes dedicated to his wife, and that he still does not know how such property could be seized.
Genc Selimi's defender, lawyer Bekim Cafgjelli, said there are remarks regarding the report of the directorate against terrorism, where it is said after the arrest of the defendants there were threats, saying his defender had been in custody at the time.
And lawyer Nike Shala, defender of accused Valon Shala, said that as evidence he wanted to obtain a home-owned tax bill that appears to be on behalf of Ejup Shala and not his client's, and that the hunting rifle that was found during the seizure had been on behalf of Valon Shala's father, not the accused.
A lawyer, Shala, said to be referring to a pneumatic air gun, which, according to him, had been in Valon Shala's parents' room, which, according to the expertise compiled for firearms, was said to have not worked.
