So said Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, during a meeting with US Deputy Secretary of State on the issue of conflict prevention, Pete Marocco.
At this meeting, attended by US Ambassador Greg Delaway, Prime Minister Haradinaj has announced Deputy Assistant Secretary Marocco's arrival in Kosovo in the field of rule of law, economic development, prevention of extremism and extreme radicalism, stressing the government's commitment to lasting peace in the country and the region.
Kosovo has proven its commitment to prevent and fight extremism in the country, and this commitment will continue”, Haradinaj has said, confirming Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic vision.
Haradinaj has said membership in INTERPOL would help not only Kosovo, but also the region and the EU in empowering security and that US aid is needed for that.
The US Deputy Secretary of State for Conflict Prevention Issues praised the achieved in Kosovo, stressing US commitment to assist Kosovo in all important processes for the country, until it appreciated Kosovo's concrete commitment to fighting extremism and terrorism.
