Friends and associates relate memories of Adem Demach

National Affairs event, Adem Demac, has remained in each Albanian's memory. Friends of his associates bowed down in tears today to the lifeless body of Demach for his work.

Someone had collected several scriptures about him, published many years earlier. And more than that, there was a book on his hands, which was hard to carry since his advanced age was making his stand difficult enough.

But the literature teacher, Shacir Shaqiri, was not absent today in the prayers being held in the Kosovo Assembly to pay the last respects to Demac, whom he calls a true patriot.

“I've thought of a coming or not, but I've already made it”, he said.

For 30 years he had known Adam Demach personally. Today, he remembers the last time he met him alive.

Shacirir Shaqiri, who comes from Medvedja, says Demacic's activity will live forever.

I've met him several times in Pristina, last time I met him at the promotion of this book, the National Museum... The blood snakes, and I didn't get it today. It's been a long time. With blood snakes, it has given its patriotic, human, Albanian, Kosovar”, he said.

To honour the nation's hero and winner of the “prize Sakharov”, people from different countries in Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia came in.

They remembered their recent meetings with Demach and showed what they would always remember what he spent 28 years in prison for his political engagement.

The Kudus Lama had also come from Albania, who said that the inspiration derived from Demac's work has raised the country's daughters and boys.

The inspiration that has resulted from his work is the one that raised the sons and daughters of this country, even in the struggle for deliverance. Of course, inspiration will also be the national future of all Albanian spaces, because the monument that he set up to the Albanian nation is so great”, he said.

Citizens who had come from abroad found it very difficult to talk about Demach.

“We today have come here to pay due honour for the last time before the work and the great image of the Albanian nation, Mr. Adem Demacci, we are today with the best intention to preserve, the memory of the gentleman Adam Demachin”, he said.

All of them were inspired, all of what Demachi has done in his lifetime.

Many of the writers ' associations were also viewed today, and they had a close relationship with Demach, who was also chairman of the Writers ' Association.

They say that Demach has always waited for them, even when his health had begun to weaken.

Today, a day after the death of national affairs, Adam Demach, many friends remember the counsel they had received from him during severe times of war.

Adem Demach was also called the tower of reconciliation, one who was always willing to help others when it was the country.

“Baca Ademi has been the tower of subscriptions for political prisoners and for all of us. Every time we had a daily need of the land, we would consult Adam's base. He always advised us... Last time I met him two months ago... He waited for us even when he couldn't speak, even when he couldn't even recognize us, he waited on us every time, for political prisoners his house has always been open, there was one special”, he said.

In front of Kosovo's camera, friends, collaborators, former political prisoners and numerous citizens from Albanian lands, they related their experiences with the Ademi Demac event.
