The Kosovo Football Federation (FFK) has said it had done everything in its ability to help Loret Sadik resolve the issue of which National to represent, responding to football statements that the FFK had not had the courage to help out for fear it would disrupt relations with the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF).

Sadiku recently expressed his anger with Albania and Kosovo. He has accused Albania's then coach, Gianni De Biasi, that he has told a lie about it and the Kosovo football government's body that he was afraid to help resolve the issue of representation of one of these nationals after giving up Sweden.

But, FFK manager Bajram Shala has told Express that the NFF had helped Sadik at the time he had applied to change the representative, to protect Albania's colors instead of Sweden.

Bajrami says he has not given up yet, even though he claims the footballer has shown no maximum interest in the case.

We've done everything possible to fix his case, but it's been impossible according to the current FIFA regulations. In the meantime we haven't completely given up on the opportunity to turn Loret into a team. Although in some cases his interest has not even been maximum”

In autumn 2013 Sadiku announced he wants to represent Albania instead of Sweden.

He got involved in the Red Team, but didn't play. He then chose to play for Kosovo in the match against Haiti (0.0) in March 2014. Sadik's presentation with Kosovo sparked outrage on Albania's national team and was no longer welcome there. It was a time Kosovo was still not accepted in U FIFA EFA.

After the match with Kosovo, Albanian Federation officials said I would never play for Albania again, but later called me for a match. I was honest and told them what I thought. He (former-trained Gianni De Biasi v.j.) told me right and then sent a statement to me about the Albanian media where I thought I agreed to play, but not to be a reserve. I didn't say, because I didn't think so and that caused chaos”, Sadiku said.
