The European Union is insisting that the Association of Serb-run municipalities should be established within the legal framework of Kosovo and under the 2015 Brussels Agreement. They even demand that the agreement be implemented without further delay
The European Union (BE) is insisting that Kosovo establish the Association of Communities with the Serbian Majority in accordance with Kosovo's laws, as well as under the 2015 Brussels Agreement.
However, the Kosovo government says determined not to establish association under the Brussels Agreement, as Kosovo's Constitutional Court has found the agreement conflicts with some provisions of the highest judicial act in the country.
“Adocation will be formed within Kosovo's legal framework under the Brussels Agreement and key general elements of the Serbian Major Commission Association, which have been reached between the parties in August 2015”, have declared to the newspaper “SoundEuropean Union official” (BE).
The EU is at the same time expecting all agreements reached between the parties to be implemented without delay.
