The singer, Chris Brown, was arrested Thursday evening in Florida, where he was performing as part of an international tour.
Brown, 29, was scheduled to perform at 7am in the Sky Coral Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, the BBC writes.
It's unclear whether he was arrested before or after the concert.
The singer was arrested in an unresolved order outside the county from last year, the Sheriff's Office in Palm Beach County said.
She refused to give additional details about what was ordered, but said Brown was retired and released after he had posted bail.

Brown has had several legal offensives, including the physical charges of the attack after an incident with his then girlfriend, Rihanna, in 2009.
He was charged with criminal attacks and threats to that incident and received a five-year trial and community service. /Lajmi.net/
