The German Ferrer pilot recorded an extraordinary time of 1A11512, leaving behind the Finnish Mercedes pilot Walter Bottas.
The other Ferrari car, Kimi Raikkonen's will be third, while for Lewis Hamilton went nowhere.
The British pilot was forced to withdraw from the evidence in the first qualifying round, due to a car problem and will leave 14th place tomorrow.

Currently, the Ferrari pilot leads with 171 points, followed by the world's current champion, Hamilton, with 163 points.
