Macedonia's champion, Shldija, hosted the “National Arena Philip II” in Skopje, his counterpart from Moldova, and beat her with the only goal scored by Macedonian Albanian Besart Ibraim.
Ibraim marked from the 24th minute penalty strike, which turned out to be the only goal at this meeting and winning for the team from Tetovo.
The event will play a trip to Sheriff's next week under the return match and will have to keep the positive outcome from the first meeting to qualify in the third qualifying round of Champions.
