Aston British Martin announced Vanquish's return after launching the new DBS Superleagger.
The company plans to use the legendary label for using a new super engine vehicle in the middle.
“Vanquish is a very special name. Since the first Vanquish, this was the most brilliant beast in our family“, said Aston Martin's leading designer, Marek Rajhman. The new model will be McLaren 720S competition, Ferrari 488 GTB and Lamborghini Huracan.
After the name Vulcan, Vantage, Virage and Volante, Vanquish was first used in 2001 as DB7's older brother, and then used on the DB9-based model.
They both had a V12 engine set up in the front of the car.
