After being arrested in Belgium, family members demand maximum sentence for Ermal Camber's killer

Kosovo Police Media Official Bajram Kelmendi has confirmed that the suspect with the S.B. initials. has been arrested in Brussels. He was declared by Kosovo justice as a person in search of the E.K. assassination in Mitrovica.

Insider has contacted Ermal Kamberaj's brother, Salvation, who has requested the extradition of the suspect to Kosovo. Rescue Camberaj has said he expects local courts to issue the maximum sentence for suspects in his brother's murder.

“We wish he would be extradited to Kosovo as soon as possible. He must receive the maximum sentence, for the serious crime he committed. We expect law enforcement not to make concessions. Ermal was killed for a reservation on the table. He's been killed at his place of employment”, said Salvation Camberaj.

The 23-year-old, Ermal Kamberaj, was killed on March 5, 2017, at his workplace at the “Ceck In” bar in Mitrovica, where he had been working as a waiter.

On the night of Ermal's murder, the singer, now Parliament deputy Labinot Tahiri, was expected to perform at the bar.
