He noted it is important that Serbs and Americans together again engage in friendship and co-operation.
Scott remembered that former US President Woodrow Wilson ordered the installation of the Serbian flag because of his close friendship with Mihail Pupin. “Oilson understood what the Serbian people suffered during World War I and wanted to honour Serbian victims”, Scott said.

Scott estimated that the United States continues to support Serbia in its efforts to implement needed reforms and entry into the European Union “Danas”, Periscopi broadcast.
“in this new century, the US government has provided more than a billion dollars in aid across the country, while my country's private charities continue to support your healthcare system and those in need of assistance”, Scott said.
