Alarmous figure, that's how many people have died in Kosovo only by accidents

52 people have died in the January / June period of this year as a result of accidents. These 52 people have changed lives to 41 fatal accidents this year.

Compared to the same period last year, there is a decline in the number of victims from fatal accidents. Last year there were 51 fatal accidents with 54 victims.

As for injuries in 2018, 13 more have been recorded than in the January period June last year. A total of 2840 injuries were recorded this year, while 2827 were in the first half of last year. These accidents had injured 545 people last year, while 5629 were injured this year.

There are also decreases in damage accidents where 4122 accidents were recorded this year, or 933 less than last year when they were 5115.

In total, in January, June 2018, 1070 accidents were registered less than in the same period last year. This year 7003 accidents were registered.

Police in the January period June 2018 have imposed more than 1072 fines than in the January period June last year. In 2017 there were 183729 fines, and this year there were 184801.
