Ahmeti: 130 euro payments alone cannot be called salary

Pristina municipality chairman, and once Social Democratic Party leader (PSD), Shpend Ahmeti today took on the minimum wage issue in Kosovo. According to him, this salary is very low and no one is treating this problem in public schedule. “
According to him, this salary is very low and no one is treating this problem in public schedule.
“Mimal Paga in Kosovo is 130 euros for workers below 35, and 170 euros for those over 35. So if you're lucky to get a job, your employer can pay 130 euros (even in public contracts) for work that often spends 6 days and 40 hours a week. For that it's minimal, we agree, but it can't be called. Nor is social assistance because the citizen works for this fee”, he wrote in his profile on the social Facebook network.
Topics such as the worker's minimum wage, according to him, are <x0-vitical themes for Kosovo citizens” and are not addressed at all in the public agenda. “Let's fight for life, job and dignified payment!”, Ahmeti wrote.
