Zeka reacts harshly to ATK: If I owe you 80 grand, then I'm an oil refinery.

Kosovo Parliament MP from the Social Democrat Initiative ranks Milaim Zeka has reacted sharply to the file's publication in some media that the same has escaped the tax in the Kosovo Tax Administration.

MP Zeka, according to the ATK file, has left the tax worth nearly 80 thousand euros. However, Fatmir Limaj's party deputy has described these reports as untrue. He has even claimed to be just blackmailing the responsible organs.

I've never missed a tax in my life and paid taxes on whatever decision ATK makes I respond to the state. The file that was published in the media is blackmailing ATK and Prosecutor's to me, the file first gets the person for whom the report was made, I didn't even get a report or an announcement so that when I get the report, then I can answer”, Zeka said about “Indexline”

On the other hand, the MP has added that there are documents showing he has paid the tax for the period of five years.

According to him, if ATK has punished him with over 80 thousand euros, then he says he was an oil refinery.

“...if ATK has punished me with exactly 81 thousand euros of debt I was the oil refinery. Repeat once again these are blackmailes once again started with visas, they have nothing of their visas now, they have nothing here, they can't blackmail me, neither the Prosecution nor the ATK absolutely. I've declared that in 2012-2017 I have paid my taxes for this I also have documents”, it's over Zeka.

Otherwise, the investigation report released to the media reportedly was carried out by Zeka's two businesses, the Media Centre “Kosovo mosaic” and “Iler Krasniqi & Milaim Zeka” OP.

The extensive research stated that the Department of Tax and Intelligence Investigations based on the investigative record, claims Milaim Zeka in the quality of the business owner “Mediale Mozaik of Kosovo”, for periods 2012-2017 has avoided personal income tax, pension contributions to the owner, tax kept in place for workers' salaries and pension contributions to workers. The total value ATK claims Zeka has left the tax of 81 thousand and 192 euros and 72 cents.

The “based on the final investigation file... has proved a suspicion based on suspects according to point 4, V. FINAL ERITMENT, has committed the criminal offence of tax evasion according to Article 313 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code and Article 63 of the Law for ATK and Procedures, damaging the budget of the Republic of Kosovo”, the ATK report said.
