Former Zagreb Dinamo president Luka Modric testified in court

Zagreb's former Dinamo president in Croatia, Zdravko Mamic, his brother Zoran Momic, former sports director Damir Vrbanovic and Balkan country's fiscal authority official, Milan Pernar, have been found guilty during this Wednesday for the theft of about 116 million kunas from the club (about 16m euros), causing a 12.2 [...] damage.
Mother has personally been sentenced to six and a half years in prison. Under the decision read by the head of the Judiciary Council, Darko Kruslin, Momic has been found guilty of all charges filed on him.
Milan Pernar and Zoran Momic were acquitted of one of the charges, but found guilty of the role of lowering Momic's fiscal obligations, or accepting and bribery.
Zdravko, Zoran and Vrbalovic have also been blamed for stealing money from Dejan Lovren's transfer, while only Zdravko has stolen parà from Luka Modric's transfer.
Real Madrid's star has sometimes been questioned in court on the case, while he too was in danger of being punished.
On these charges, Pernar has been sentenced to 4 years and two months; Zoran for 4 years and 11 months, while Vrbanovic with 3 years in prison.
None of the defendants were present in court when the verdict was handed down. But what's odd is that Zdravko Mamic announced yesterday, the day before making the decision, that he was in Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina, even though he declared he was not avoiding the authorities.
