Vodafone UK is the third largest operator in the country. The 5G services will begin in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow, Liverpool, London and Manchester.
The company aims to cover over 5G high population density areas.
In recent years a comprehensive European campaign to improve the 4G network has begun.
Vodafone is awaiting the first 5G phones, which will be available in 2020 before mass implementation of 5Gs can begin.
The company has predicted that adopting 5G will be 50% in large between the next decade.
