Vocrried goal against Luxembourg sent Yugoslavia to European Championship

All of you remember Kosovo football player from the eightties, the biggest star of the magic game, Fadil Vokry. Everyone admired her. He was one of the best players in the generation, and the man who did most for Kosovo football.

Fadil Vokrrit's career had begun with “Podujevo's” at age 15, as a junior at KF “Llap” and later as 17 years old had begun playing for the first team.

After KF “Lapi” he had started playing for “Electricity” in Obilic, and then he's back in Llap.

Vorri had joined Pristina's team in June 1980. Vorrit's contribution has been enormous in Pristina's victories.

What is kept in mind is especially the game against Zagreb's “Dinamos”, especially against “Zvezdes” in Belgrade. Vorkri then played for Belgrade's big team, “Partizan”. The Partizan had expressed interest in Fadil Vokrri's great talent. He had been the only Albanian representative to have worn Yugoslavia's representation garment at the time.

Fadil Vokrrit's goal against Luxembourg in recent minutes had led the team to the European Championship. Luksenburg porter had said: “Even if there were five other goalkeepers, they wouldn't be able to protect Vokrrit's target”.

Fadil Vokerri after “Partizan” had also played in France, as active football player and later as coach.

He was later back as president of the Federation of Kosovo in football, working hard for the Kosovar sport.

Thanks to his hard work, Kosovo has been admitted to UEFA and FIFA.
