Deputy Tourism Minister Hajrlla Ceku, who participated in the government's public accountability in Durres, suggested that foreign tourists' expenses have increased for 2017 by 8.5%, spending an average of 4.2 nights in our country.
For 2013-2017 approximately 21 million foreign citizens came to Albania, marking an average 12% increase annually. Foreign tourists' expenses have increased by 8.5% for 2017, where these visitors have spent an average of 4.2 nights in Albania, spending 63 euros a day. About 1.7 billion euros was the contribution of tourism to Albania for 2017, over 200m euros more than a year ago.
