SHIKA Secret Report Discovered in Azem Hajdari's Murder

The 1998 SHIK document for the assassination of Azem Hajdari is discovered. The secret document, available by Izet Hadzia's lawyer and will serve as proof of his retrial, brings to light unknown facts about the murder of the century, that of MP Azem Hajdari. The document explains to then-President Rexhep Mejidani and Prime Minister Majko the dynamics and reasons for Azem Hajdari's murder.

“Isamedini and Halil Haklaj, the brother of Fatmir Haklajt, jointly conducted arms traffic from Gramshi to Tropoj with Kosovo objects. From some reliable information sources independent of each other, the authors of MP Azem Hajdari's assassination are allegedly: Fatmir Muharrem Haklaj, Jaho Salih Mulosman and Feriz Krnaja, all three from the Tropoja circle. The origin of the conflict between this group and Azem Hajdari began with the attempted murder carried out by SP deputy Gafur Mazrek towards Azem Hajdari on September 18th 1997.

Early in August 1998, Feriz Krena is released by the Court of Fact Tropoj, arguing with several successive amnestys he had benefited from. About September 2nd 1998, Fatmir Haklaj's father, dubbed Muharrem Haklaj, about 67, has come to Tirana and has met with Azem Hajdari in order to make the reconciliation of the women.

In the conversation they have argued, in conclusion, after disagreeing, Muharrem told him that he will return to the problem in 10 days. According to our information, on the day of the event, September 2, 1998, at 9: 00 p.m., Azem Hajdari has been invited by telephone to discuss this problem at the scene of the crime.
