Fortunately, his screams were heard by the concerned inhabitants who rushed to rescue him in a churchyard in the Philippines.
Local authorities have cared for the young boy, named Louis, after he was saved on May 28th.
His grandmother Gloria Perez found herself in front of the abandoned child to identify the infant's identity. Police had later arrested the mother of the child for two months, Periscope broadcast “Daily Mail”.
The Philippines regional police identified the child's mother as Lara Sentillas.
A police report on the incident said the baby was heard crying at 9 a.m.. /Periscopi/
