Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman will visit Russia next week for the opening ceremony of the World Football Championship.
Russian news agency Interfax quoted Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying Salman could meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“E we await his visit”, Peskov said.
Arabia Saudte will face Russia in Moscow on 14 June for the opening match of the World Championship, which is the world's most famous sports event.
Saudi Arabia and Russia are two major oil exporters and have co-operated at production levels, first by reducing production to increase prices and, recently, in increasing production to ease consumers' concerns about high prices.
