MPJ: Kosovo can neither Serbia nor Russia block OBD

The Republic of Kosovo has participated in the 132nd session of the Council of the World Customs Organisation OBD, which is being held in Brussels with participation by 182 member states. This was the 4th session of The OBD, in which Kosovo is participating as a member since January 2017.
Under this session has been re-elected OBD Secretary General Kunio Micryya; reviewing the Kyotto Convention; building capacities; trade relief programmes to be offered to member states and other important issues in customs areas.
“During the session's work, the Republic of Kosovo has exercised its rights like all other member states, taking the word, exercising the right to vote, and confirming from the Kosovo financial contributions budget council”, the MPJ media report said.
“Despite efforts by Serbia and Russia to prevent Kosovo's participation, they failed following the reaction of the Kosovo Republic delegation and the allied states and partner”, the MPJ concludes.
Meanwhile, Serbian media are constantly reporting today that “has been hampered by Kosovo's membership in OBD”.
