The LB has called this action the government's irresponsability to public money, writes Periscopi.
The government of the Republic of Kosovo continued with implementation of salary increases, mainly for political staff, following the Constitutional Court ruling, which the government's decision did not consider unconstitutional. This time again, this government action has disturbed public opinion and testified to an arrogant approach that this government has in all directions”, it says in response.
According to the LB, before making that decision, at least the Government has had to draft the Government Law to limit the number of ministers, advisers and deputy ministers.
The movement for the Union considers that the government, before deciding to implement this decision, would have to reflect on the public opinion response to the issue. She, at least, would not have to take this step before drafting the Law on Government to which the number of ministers, advisers, and especially deputy ministers would be limited. Let's not forget that this government, in the most irresponsible way, has increased to about 80 the number of deputy ministers, who, apart from the financial burden, are also an obstacle to the efficiency of the ministry's work. Also expected would be approval of the Law on Salaries in the procedure, which would lay the groundwork for political staff salaries”, it is further said.
In response, the Movement for the Union is said to be unacceptable as the Haradinaj government decided to raise wages above the region's salary level and in full exchange with the country's socio-economic situation.
This government is continuing to be completely irresponsible to public money and is also continuing to reward party militants with deputy ministers' positions, thus abusing the state budget. Unfortunately, the overall work of this government does not give us hope and reason to believe that these salaries and these rewards will be translated into results. On the contrary, the more stimulating the ill - rule will be the consequences for the country”, it says in the end. /Periscopi/
