The popular rally, organised a year after the current government's formation, was supported by thousands of citizens coming from different cities in the country, who by national rule and different slogans expressed their frustrations with the current government, including their stance against changing the country's constitution to reach agreement about the name, which Macedonia has with its southern neighbour, Greece.
VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristian Mickoski, in his address to thousands of citizens, said Macedonia spent a year with disappointments, betrayed expectations, economic barriers and false promises. DO YOU live better, do you think? It will not happen dear brothers and sisters. To prevent until it's too late, to prevent us until it's too late. There must be elections, early parliamentary elections together with those presidential”, Mickoski ordered, demanding a technical government 100 days before the elections.
