Italian tourist arrested with 30kg of drugs in Saranda

An Italian tourist has been caught with a large amount of narcotics in the Qafe Six area in Saranda.

It is learned that Italian Vito Baruchel, arrested by police, had hidden the narcotics in his trailer.

Some 300 kilograms [300 kg] of narcotic cannabis sativa were found in the vehicle.

After suspicion and information received by the police, the trailer was taken to the Kakaravia border, to get it into the scanner.

The verification proved that narcotic matter was hidden in the roof of the vehicle, where part was cut into chocolate.

In this case, investigations are under way, while police have not come up with official information.
