History tape will be static in the Instagram

Already as you move the main page of posts the tape of history remains visible.

It usually stands at the top and doesn't follow you down, but clearly the company is testing a more consistent, consistent approach to keep the stories before you at any time.

This seems very annoying for some, but others may find it appropriate.

There seems to be a constant push for greater use and better detection of 400 million people now using Instagram Stories every day.

Returning to the top of the app was not difficult before. When reached for comments from The Verge via email, an Instagram spokesman gave a comment on the standard testing the new feature:
