Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, ministers, deputy ministers and several other state employees today have received wages. But, in their accounts, there are huge differences in the fixed sums. The flooding this time has increased.
The month of June this year could be considered the month of fate for Kosovo Government leaders. Those in bank accounts today have their salaries out.
In the Government of Kosovo, they have shown that wages have come up with increases, but have not specified the fact that they have been seen with retroactive.
Muharrem Sahini, an information officer at the Ministry of Finance, has confirmed that wages have been executed with increase
“Pages were executed with an increase of”, he indicated.
Sahin has said he doesn't know exactly whether wages have been executed in retroactive form for all employees, but has indicated that retroactivity has been applied to those institutions that sent the lists, while for those that haven't been sent, it will be applied next month.
On the other hand, days earlier the prime minister himself had declared that the increased salaries would be retroactive by the month the decision was made.
For 7 months since December 2017, when the decision was made to raise wages, Prime Minister Haradinaj has received 10 thousand and 549 euros.
Until, in total, for a year, Haradinaj's salary will cost the budget 35 thousand and 400 euros.
The five deputy prime ministers will receive wages with total growth of 52.745 euros, as their salaries have been raised to 2,500 euros.
What's worse won't be the ministers' wallet. 2,000 euros per month will receive the salary by increasing.
Meanwhile, ministers who also hold the post of deputy prime minister will receive only the salary for the position.
The annual salary of ministers of the Haradinaj government will be around 480 thousand euros.
Thanks to the decision to raise wages, councillors, drivers, and other government officials will receive their salary on the rise.
Prime Minister Haradinaj had complained in the Assembly about his small salary. The finance ministry, on the other hand, continues to reject the Government's decision on wages.
In the Government of Kosovo, it has indicated that the budgetary implications for this decision are over 8m euros, including the salaries of judges and prosecutors.
The Kosovo government had decided in late December 2017 on doubling salaries for its cabinet, all ministers with the monitoring staff and several other categories.
This ruling had gone to the Constitutional Court, and after the court's opinion that the same does not conflict with the Constitution, the Government had reversed its abolished ruling in this court.
