Speaking at the debate in parliament and repeating her party's position that they will not vote for the agreement, but remain in government, support and vote against the New Democracy proposal for the government's distrust, MIA's Athens correspondent reported.
“We, independent Greeks, as clear patriotic movement, remain strongly in our decision not to support the proposal for the name of Skopje, which in any way will contain the name Macedonia when and if this agreement comes for ratification in the Assembly. We will not allow anyone to fake our history. For us and for me personally, the name Macedonia is not given, neither divided, nor composed, nor under different names, and therefore we will not vote for any such kind of agreement, if it comes to the vote in Parliament. For us and me personally, Macedonia is Greece and Greece is Macedonia”, Caruha said.
