The government owes Bechtel Enka over 100m euros

The current Minister of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj, has said that Kosovo has signed contracts worth 600m euros with Bechtel-Enka for highway construction.
According to Lekaj, Bechtel-Enka has so far received 500m euros for the project.
The company will receive another 100m euros, plus the equivalent of the 53m-euro fine.
On the other hand, former minister from LDK ranks Lutfi Zharku has said there is no single bill that the government has not paid to the Bechtel Enka Company.
Zharku says this company has done no work for which it has not been paid.
He has indicated at T7 that the contract was meant to last 42 months, but due to lack of budget, the contract has not been concluded over time.. /Periscopi
