The Constitutional Court's decision is scandalous as it was the Haradinaj Government's decision to raise wages. These are statements by the Vetevendosje Movement about the Constitutional Court's decision to raise wages for government officials.
Vetevendosje Movement MP Arberie Nagavci says that with voting they have violated Article 424 of the penal code, which poses conflict of interest.
And for that, Nagavci says they will make criminal complaints to the government as a whole, including ministers who have voted such a law.
The Constitutional Court's decision is scandalous as the Haradinaj government's decision itself. In addition to constitutional violations, since taking this into consideration Prime Minister Haradinaj and all the ministers who have voted in favour have violated Article 424 of the Penal Code by voting for an issue that presents conflict of interest then we will proceed with this by making a criminal complaint for Prime Minister Haradinaj and all ministers who have voted in pro”, Nagavci told Tribuna Channel.
Independent MP Korab Sejdiu says the non-recognitional opinion of the two judges in the Constitution is more reasonable and clear than the majority's act.
But Sejdiu says the Anti Corruption Agency's otherwise thought could also potentially make a criminal complaint.
The constitutionality of this assessment is given, but there is also the legal aspect where we have an opinion of the AKK that has described this decision as a conflict of interest and implementation of this decision by the Government would, of course, enforce further action on the part of the Agency, potentially by the record and criminal rowing against those who have even voted and apply it to”, Sejdiu says.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's adviser, Halil Matoshi, says it is the right of the opposition to make criminal speculation about the decision to raise salaries.
The Constitutional Court found there is no violation of the Government's decision to raise salaries for the government cabinet, where the prime minister's salary will be 2950 euros.
