Wang said he hoped the summit would help <x0-> clear interventions, establishment of mutual confidence and overcoming difficulties so that they can reach a basic consensus and take concrete steps towards deregulation of the Korean Peninsula”, CNN reports.
“We hope that all relevant parties will make an effort to do so, and China will continue to play a constructive”, Wang added.
The Chinese government is a long ally of North Korea and has been pushing for talks between Pyongyang and Washington for more than a year. /Periscopi/
