Microsoft buys GitHub for $7.5 billion

GitHub was launched in San Francisco in 2008, and after the first foreign investment in 2012, it began to grow rapidly, Kosovo Press broadcasts.
There are now about 27 million programmers from around the world using this platform for exchange of codes and development of ideas.
Open-source projects are free, while some developers and companies pay for access to code databases.
Microsoft announced today that it expects to conclude an agreement by the end of the year, for which GitHub will pay $7.5 billion in shares.
