Apple Company today has been sentenced to about $6.6 million by an Australian court because of the false claims of consumers that the company refuses to regulate iPhone and iPad models, which were previously arranged by third parties.

Consumers of the American technological giant have complained to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, as the update of the operating system disabled their equipment, following the global problem known as “Eror 53”.

Apple ordered consumers that they have no right to fix the problem if their equipment was regulated by other companies.

There was no immediate comment from Apple, which earlier described that the error appears “when the device does not pass the security test”.

Otherwise, the company released an update of the operating system to solve the problem. /kp/
