State police in Albania have presented measures taken for the prosperity of the summer tourist season.
Deputy General Director of State Police Aida Hayyna, also director of Albania's Border and Migration, has announced the plan of measures police have taken under the tourist season, writes Koha Ditore today.
There are about 1,078 police workers who are engaged in the tourist season and who are divided across the territory to ensure tranquillity and order in tourist areas.
The State Police director has stressed that the purpose of the measures taken is to ensure order and public safety in tourist areas, on beaches, increase road safety parameters and manage access to the border for this summer tourist season. The number two state police have said Albanian Border Police have taken steps to cope with the influx of Albanians coming to Albania from Kosovo, but also those coming from Greece.
