Serbia has many common issues with Turkey, ranging from politics to the economy, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, said on the eve of his visit to Turkey.
At a meeting with reporters at the Serbian Presidency in Belgrade, Vucic praised the official visit he will make to Turkey on May 7th.
He said the Free Trade Agreement with Turkey, which is signed last October, has caused Serbia's meat export to grow by 22 or 23 percent.
This opens up new possibilities for the future. We have many common issues with Turkey, ranging from political to economic, added the fact that Turks are the most tourists, the number we want to grow to”, Vuciq said.
After Turkey, Vucinic travels to Russia on May 8th, where he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Vuciq said meeting with Putin would have positive effects on bilateral relations and trade volume between the two countries.
