US Secretary of State Mike Pompeii today threatened Iran with the most powerful sanctions in history if it does not come to the government course in Tehran.
He added that Washington is ready to lift all sanctions and establish full diplomatic and trade relations if Iran makes major changes.
He said this when during the presentation of President Donald Trump's administration strategy in limiting Iran's nuclear programme and rejecting other aspects of Tehran's behaviour in the region following the withdrawal of Trump from the nuclear agreement signed with Iran in 2015.
All this tension of the situation has come after Trump's recent decision to withdraw from the nuclear agreement with Iran, which has been highly criticised.
The first to go against such a decision was former President Barack Obama. Then, that was the object of German Chancellor Angela Merkel. /Periscope. /
