After returning from the Bulgarian capital, he has continued to insist that visas will be removed this year, underlining that he has told EU leaders that it has clarified that the country has met all the criteria required in the process.
“The summit has shown once again the European perspective of the Western Balkans very strongly. We have been focused on the link between the Balkan states. The interconnection theme is expanded to include not only roads and railways, but digital infrastructure as well. The “Liders of EU states have adopted the Sofia Declaration, after which all leaders of the Western Balkans are listed. Kosovo has attended such a summit for the first time in its history. This participation is historic. It has been a diplomatic victory for Kosovo and for all EU members who recognise Kosovo and others who are in the process of recognising”.
Kosovo has been adequately represented and has been able to present concrete results in all areas. Above all, it became clear that despite the challenges, the destruction the country has suffered during the war, we have managed to catch up with the countries of the region that are old as states nearly a century”.
