At today's Assembly session, some MPs have been seen as embarrassed because the Parliament has entered a cycle of starting sessions without long term and very soon they expect to start summer holidays.
For this failure to organise in the work of the Parliament, MP Faton Topalli reacted, who said that recently the weekly structure of the Parliament's work, which existed earlier, is lacking.
As expected, Kadri Wessel was not impressed.
However, the haste of MPs to overcome the jobs in the Assembly is certainly an irresistible need for the holiday of the relaxes at expensive facilities in the region and the world. That should also be why they worry so much. Because vacations can be delayed, not because of about 80 polling points and affecting the lives of citizens of the country.
Even, as rarely PDK deputies, the AAK and the Initiative for Kosovo, have expressed readiness to hold sessions even over the weekend just to vote on all points.
However, Chairman Wessel has expressed a little skeptical about this proposal, perhaps not knowing that summer vacation could be delayed too. Surely, when he realizes it, he can change his mind and strongly support the wise proposal of MPs.
A large part of the leadership is not in Kosovo. If necessary, we can hold sessions every day so that the remaining 80 points will be considered, said Wessel.
Amid the noise to vote as soon as possible, some MPs demanded that Prime Minister Haradinaj be more frequently in the Assembly when discussing the issues awaiting the vote.
But because of the emergency situation to overcome matters as soon as possible, MP Ahmeti Isufi became angry.
“What you miss so much for Prime Minister”, Isufi said, probably having in mind the coolness of beaches and sea.
It remains to be seen how the Parliament's work will be completed by summer vacation, but we will likely see an action as never before to vote quickly on all points and forget everything left behind in a few weeks. /Periscopi/
