The United Education, Science and Culture Union of Kosovo (SBASHK) through a statement to the media has reacted to the draft analysis published by the GAP institute, from which it has also sought apology for teachers of the 1990s.
According to the union, the report drafted by GAP is based on assumptions and trends.
GAP has also accepted criticism of the cover of this analysis, which was wrapped in abbeast.
“GAP draft analysis with the title "Britical Change of Law for Albanian Education Workers of the 1990s” wrapped in the cover as if it were A BETARE, which is a reckless move. The more in this drawing of the cover the student appears with a disagreeable face and a smile just because of his despair, and flies come out of his bag. On the same cover, badly designed by GAP, instead of the student, who's on the cover of one of the abbeys, a boatman, with ironic smiles and a bag that hasn't taken all the money, but they're starting to come out of the bag. That's how you portray the teacher of the '90s GAP. This has nothing to do with truth and it is an insult to the personality of the torches of knowledge”, says part of the communiqué, Kosovo s.
Full response from SBASK:
GAP should apologize to teachers of the 1990s
The GAP Institute had had had two working meetings with SBASK representatives over all issues related to the Law for the statute of Albanian Education Workers of the Republic of Kosovo for the 1990s. They, even in spite of the abundant arguments they received, went out publicly organizing the table with deputies, representatives of institutions, representatives of civil society and other parties interested in a draft analysis which proved to be based on assumptions and without stable arguments and the tendency against approval of this law.
In this reaction, we will not consider the draft GAP based on assumptions because at the table organised by those SBASK representatives with arguments and facts rejected all their negative claims to the law. Our reaction is due and for another reason. GAP draft reviews with the title "Pardlical Change of Law for Albanian Education Workers of the 1990s” wrapped in the cover as if it were A BETARE, which is a reckless move. The more in this drawing of the cover the student appears with a disagreeable face and a smile just because of his despair, and flies come out of his bag. On the same cover as badly designed by GAP, instead of the student, who's on the cover of one of the abbeys, there's a boatman, with ironic smiles and a bag, who doesn't have a zzech «in all the money, but they're starting to come out of the bag. That's how you portray the teacher of the '90s GAP. This has nothing to do with truth and is an insult to the personality of the torches of knowledge.
People in GAP have not experienced the time of the 1990s and the submilient resistance of Albanian education workers at the time faced the storm and the violence of invaders. Teachers at that time worked hard with devotion, and bags and pupils were with books and notebooks, heads filled with knowledge and hearts in love for their country. The teacher at the time was not dressed as in the GAP drawing, nor was he wearing a bag. He has worked for most of his life free of charge, but on behalf of the ideal for his free homeland and with the awareness that he is serving light against darkness. GAP made this mistake with the cover, perhaps without purpose, but the drawing proved offensive and therefore GAP should ask public forgiveness for teachers and students of the 1990s.
