Scientists at Washington Medical University have developed an automatic system that uses robots to produce human minorities from stem cells.

According to Science Daily, the ability to produce “organoids” has the promise to expand the use of mini-organs in basic research and drug detection.

This is our “armatic” in the fight against diseases”, says Benjamin Freedman, a scientist at this university.
Earlier, scientists would grow cells for biomedical research, cultivating them on flat sheets. But they were too simple to imitate the real way of cells.

But this new development enables organoid production at a fast pace. It is the first time scientists are able to mass produce these miniorgans from stem cells.

By and large, the establishment of an experiment of this size would require researchers all day, while a robot does it in 20 minutes. Besides, the robot doesn't get tired or make mistakes... No questions about repeated and tiring tasks, robots do a better job than people”, says Freedman of Science Daily.
