But a New York City judge has temporarily released the famous American actor and director.
He was released with a $1 million caustion and parole after the judge ordered an electronic monitoring label on.
Tens of women have pressed charges against the 66-year-old, including rape and sexual assault, causing the movement #MeToo.
Their mass is also actress Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow, who have claimed to the media that they were sexually harassed.
Weinstein has denied committing any sexual act without the consent of women, and his lawyer said he would not admit guilt. /Telegraphy/
