Markle was conveyed to the altar by Prince Charles, Harry's father, after her father announced that she would not be able to attend the wedding because of evil health.
Queen Elizabeth II has given Prince Harry the title Duke of Sussex, while Markle will have the title Sussex Duchess.
Harry, 33, is fifth in line for the throne. He and 36-year-old Markel met through a joint friend in 2016 and kept their relationship secret for months.
They announced they were engaged in November last year.
Harry is the second son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana.
