Mozilla launched version 60 of the Firefox Browser with a new option: authenticate without a password.
This is thanks to a new W3C standard called Web Authentication or WebAuthn, which is enabled with Firefox 60 and will be activated at Chrome 67 and Microsoft Edge.
Removing need for a password, The WebAuthAI will make attacks on more difficult fishing methods.
While this standard is currently becoming available only in the desktop browser, in the future the mobile browser will support it.
