Kosovo's 16 thousand and 200 Swiss francs gather for mothers and babies

The event for Mother and Child has implemented the charity event “Save Life”, which was held on May 12th at the Marriott Hotel in Cyril, Switzerland, in which case the well-known artist Elina Duni performed the case of the Kosovo Republic's Ambassador to Switzerland, Nazanne Breca.
This charity evening, organised by “Action for Mother and Child” and co-organizer Dr. Agron Abrashi and Ridvan Murati were held at the goal of raising funds from the diaspora for lowering the infant mortality rate in Kosovo.
“Mothers and children are the most sensitive and endangered part of our people in Kosovo. Saving lives is the most generous, noble and humanitarian gesture that shows extraordinary solidarity among us. But saving the lives of mothers and children represents a greater and more special priority”, Abrashi said.
During the evening, many prominent personalities contributed and donated funds to the three-hour cocktail. Part of the event's organisation was also a quiet auction, which contributed to personalities such as beauty icons and entrepreneur Agnes Vutha, lassuza Xharra fashion director, Luci Neemina Crematory, the English wooden-collar company “Campbell Marson”, as well as clay made by “and Granita”. Also part of the auction were two photons from Fjoralbore and Romir Imam, as well as donated artistic photos by Barabara Man.
At auction they also contributed “Restorant Da Paulo”, “Kosovo Wine” with wine products, as well as “Royal Heart Car”.
“The solidarity and support shown by our countrymen and friends here in Zurich gives us the will to continue the battle for reducing the infant mortality rate in Kosovo. Everyone's contribution plays a key role in our work and we are grateful to have such an active and willless diaspora to support the Albanian cause, said the Event Co-ordinator for Mothers and Children”, Janine Mehmeti.
All ticket sales will support the “Action Foundation's programmes for Mother and Child” in Kosovo, specifically: supply of medical equipment to the clinics of Gynecology, Paddy and Neonatology, support of the Surfactive Medicine for the national need, development of the neo-natal transport system, expansion of Classies for Mothers, and the discreating of the certary cancer.
