Peja city choir “Siparatum Choir” today will travel to Nancy, France, with whom we will be part of the international world choir festival “Nancy Voix Du Monde 2018” in France, held from May 9th to May 13th.
Cori will show up recently with some concerts at the country's best-known locations as; Temple a NNCY, La Erkman or LWENVIE, Grand Salon de NANCY and Place Stanislas a NACY, where this evening we will appear with countries like this; Algeria, Germany, Argentina, Bulgaria, Chile, Ecuador, Philippiwt, RD of Congo, R. Czech, Switzerland, Ukraine, etc.
For this program we are working long and intensively, and there he was rewarded. Although the choir was formed last year, I consider that we have done a great job, all on voluntary grounds just to enrich our culture and values. For this I am grateful to all those who have promoted us to our artistic purposes. I hope we will return with our best performance from France”, said Fatmir Bajraktari, president of the choir.
Cori Siparatum will be presented by works of world and local composers as; Whitacre, Bartolucci, Runstad, Geolo, M. Mac, K. Aliens, D. Zeqiri-Nushi, M. Kelmendi, etc.
“It is my pleasure to be a part of this very important event where our state Kosovo is represented for the first time at this festival, by which means we will be presented in the works of different repert, including the works of world-renowned composers, and the main goal is to present our national motives and values at this festival. I am proud to see the flag of our country among the states of the world at this festival that for us as a state I consider to be a very important cultural event for us”, said Memli Kelmendi, the choir conductor.
Part of the program will be Agron Shuyak, piano; Matey Karaqi, vocal; Arita Bajraktari, soprano and piano; Biona Leka, piano; Raje Dobrunaj, bass and baron; Erjon Palucaj, vocal; Luan Sabunxhiu, guitar; Rizah Jahaj, tenor; Blerina Zeka, flute; Patience Jasharaj, fagott.
According to a communique of organisers, the participation of the state of Kosovo at the festival has also been attended by numerous French media.
