KMDLNJ: If Decan-Plava Street is in protected zone, Serbian Church is right

The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms (KMDLNJ) through a media statement has reacted to protected areas, based on two recent cases; the disruption of works on the Plav-Decan road at the request of the Decani Monastery, and the reaction of residents of Klina's Poterq village for [...]
This council has sought to clarify where exactly the works are taking place on this road.
“KMDLNj seeks to explain whether the existing route where the work started is within the protected zone or not. If it is part of the protected zone then legally the Serbian Orthodox Church and Sava Janjiq, the OSCE and the American Embassy have the right to their demands for a break in the works, while if this road is only 1mm., outside the protected zone, then the work must continue. From the face of human rights, any obstruction of freedom of movement, for all and without making any distinction, is a flagrant violation of these rights, as well as considered unacceptable”, said in part of the response.
The second case is the reaction of residents of Kline's Poterq village who rejected the visit of their former Serb villagers to destroyed property and church, on the grounds that they have committed crimes by killing 15 Albanians in this village.
All displaced persons, without ethnic differences etc., and who, for various reasons have been forced to abandon their properties, have the right to return to these properties, to exploit them unhindered, and their return cannot be conditioned by anything”, it is said in response.
