Inspectorate is collecting information for Kosovo police officers who arrested Marko Djurovic

On March 26th, the chief of the Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Marko Djuric, entered Kosovo without permission, for what the country's institutions immediately reacted to, giving orders for his arrest.
Dozens of Kosovo Police members participated in the action, but were troops of the Special Intervention Unit who arrested Djuric during a rally he was hosting with the northern Serbs.
The conduct of Kosovo police officers during Djuric's arrest had not liked Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs from the Serb community Milan Radojevic, according to which violence was used in this action.
At his request, the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK) has started collecting information about allegations of eventual violations of the rules by police officials.
Now that it's been almost two months since Djuric's arrest, The IPK is continuing to appeal to Deputy Prime Minister Radojevic.
In an answer to Indexline, The IPK has announced that its mission is to provide a responsible, democratic and transparent police service through the exercise of its activity, in line with legislation in power and required standards.
Therefore, in line with this mission and legal scope The IPK takes investigative measures and actions in cases where members of the Kosovo Police have allegedly committed actions that conflict with the KP law and other underground police acts.
Even in regard to Mr. Marko Djuric, IPK, respectively, has started with collecting and gathering information about allegations of eventual violations by Kosovo Police officials. Regarding this police operation, The IPK has received a complaint from deputy. Minister of Internal Affairs, over some allegations of overuse of force by police officials”, said in response.
IPK investigators will continue to take other investigative actions depending on the findings of this information collection process and in consultation with the competent prosecutor.
